Passion in the workplace, is that even possible? Yes, and I’m not referring to an affair with a coworker or sleeping your way to the top. I’m talking about discovering what you want to do on the job that will make you want to be at work.

I discovered my niche almost by accident. I say almost because at some level I believe there are no accidents and everything happens for a reason. My life went through a series of what seemed like cataclysmic changes and I found myself unemployed and attending a government sponsored training program. It was there that I was exposed to what would become a passion for me - facilitating classes for adults. Now, the changing careers didn’t come without sacrifices. When I made the change from my previous career to facilitating, I now earned about one third of what I used to take home but I was three times happier. Work was no longer work. It had become a pleasure. There were even times when my weekends were irritants because they kept me away from what I loved doing.

    Radio Commercials
Guglielmo Marconi invented radio in 1896. The first commercial transistor radio was the Regency TR1, which went on the market in the USA in 1954. Many people have contributed to the development of the radio. Radios grew in popularity in the late 1920s and became a common household gadget.Radio commercials are considered an economical medium for advertising. It costs much less to produce a radio commercial and to buy airtime than to film a TV commercial and buy television airtim

A Simply Stupid Plan for Your Success!
Consistant, honest effort will always lead you to a successful outcome in internet marketing! The goal may not be achieved in the time frame that you would like, but it will always come if you have belief and patience in the message of your ad campaign. Look aroung you, nothing of importance was built or constructed over night; and, if it was, then it will be gone over-night, just as fast. Never give in to the fast buck, 6-weeks to success, 3 months to #1, or any other almost instant s

Combine Your Yellow Page Ad and Web Site for Maximum Profits
Combine Your Yellow Page Ad and Web Site for Maximum Profits Dr. Lynella Grant A Yellow Page Ad isn't Enough Any More An unquestioned "must" for any small business has been to run an ad in the Yellow Page Directory. Since most customers were local, that was enough to establish itself as "open for business." The annual Yellow Page ad represents the largest promotional expense for many enterprises. Yet, Yellow Page directory use is declining, while expanding segments of the public don't

Importance of Branding - What's in a Name?
Branding is perhaps the most important facet of any business--beyond product, distribution, pricing, or location. A company's brand is its definition in the world, the name that identifies it to itself and the marketplace. A model may be beautiful, but without a name, she's just "that girl in that picture." Where would Norma Jean be without Marilyn Monroe, or who would imagine Coca-Cola as just a soft-drink manufacturer? A brand provides a concrete descriptor to customers and compe

Identifying what motivates you, what gets your juices flowing is key to knowing what intrinsic needs you have that have to be fulfilled in order for you to experience true job satisfaction. For me it was things like the constant learning of new skills, making a difference in people’s lives and meeting lots of interesting people. For you it could be creating something new and exciting, building something that adds value or beauty to someone’s life or being recognized for making a contribution. Whatever your needs are, and remember they are your needs and not someone else’s, it is important that they get met. I have had people tell me that their main motivator is money and lots of it. I feel sorry for these people because if acquiring money is their main goal, they are never going to be happy. When you chase money you find out there is never enough of it. How many millionaires long to be billionaires? Should money be one of your motivators? I think so. Unless you have figu
