Once they see their expectations not being met, they either assume they are a failure, or network marketing is a scam.

When in reality, neither are true. What happened was a lack of REAL education that could have prevented this all too common scenario from happening in the first place.

A real and accurate expectation in network marketing is to give it at least 3-5 solid years of work before you expect it to start really paying off. Personally, I tell people a reasonable expectation is between $500-$1000 per month by the end of your first year.

In the beginning, you are grossly underpaid, and on the back end you are grossly over paid. If you don’t fill yourself with outrageous expectations, it makes it A LOT easier to just calmly do the amount of work it takes, day after day, to really build a long term residual income from network marketing.
