List Building Using Other People's Lists (Part 6, List Building Strategies)
One of the strongest forms of traffic you can get is referral traffic from someone else’s list. There are several ways you can do this.1) Arrange a swap with other web sites. When someone subscribes to your list, use the other person’s web site as the thank you page, and they will do the same for you. This has almost no cost to you or to them, and you both gain an extra s
The Hero's Journey (Monomyth) is the template upon which the vast majority of successful stories and Hollywood blockbusters are based upon. In fact, ALL of the hundreds of Hollywood movies we have deconstructed (see URL below) are based on this 188+ stage template.

Understanding this template is a priority for story or screenwriters. This is the template you must master if you are to succeed in the craft.

[The terminology is most often metaphoric and applies to all successful stories and screenplays, from The Godfather (1972) to Brokeback Mountain (2006) to Annie Hall (1977) to Lord of the Rings (2003) to Drugstore Cowboy (1989) to Thelma and Louise (1991) to Apocaplyse Now (1979)].

    THE HERO'S JOURNEY:

    a) Attempts to tap into unconscious expectations the audience has regarding what a story is and how it should be told.

    b) Gives the writer more structural elements than simply three or four acts, plot points, mid point and so on.

    c) Gives you a tangible process for building and releasing dissonance (establishing and achieving catharses, of which there are usually four).

    d) Gives you a universal structural template upon which you can superimpose your situational story. This is why stories such as Alien (1979), Gladiator (2000), Midnight Cowboy (1969), American Beauty (1999), The Graduate (1967) and many others (all deconstructed at the URL below) appear to be different but are all constructed, almost sequence by sequence, in the same way.

    Statistics Can Be Our Friend
Every day the media is full of all kind of statistics and whether they are useful or not is up to each individual. When used properly, statistics can help investors make more informed decisions. The reasons why statistics are important are as follows:·Economic statistics keep track of the economy. Selling Your Home
As a Buyer's Agent, I have taken clients through numerous properties for sale. With all the advice and media around real estate and home improvement, it’s surprising to see how little sellers do to prepare for showings. It seems that many still don't understand basic strategies for selling their home. With minimal time and effort, you can optimize your home’s appeal and increase your chan

    Preserve the Loyalty You Deserve
My video duplication company has been a reliable and responsive supplier. They should be – I have spent more than $62,000 with them in the past few years.I received a complaint from a customer about one of my video programs that ‘skipped’ during playback. I thought it was an oddity and immediately replaced the disc. But the next month another complaint arrived about the same situat

    *****New Self*****

Every Hero transforms from an Ordinary Self to a New Self. It is the New Self that has the capacity to conquer challenges that the Old Self could not. Progression of the New Self is demonstrated at the stage of the Seizing of the Sword. In Straw Dogs (1971), David walks home and decides to fire the boys. Also, Amy is smoking now.

    *****Demonstrating the Magical Gift*****

It is not unusual for the Mentor or Hero to have to demonstrate the Magical Gift. In Brokeback Mountain (2005), Jack uses the gun to shoot the wolf. This often also substitutes as a foreshadow of the coming real use of the Magical Weapon, which is where some obstacle is overcome.

    *****First Threshold Guardian*****

Before the Hero et al enter the First Threshold, they must pass a Threshold Guardian. In Star Wars (1977), Luke and Obi Wan must pass the Storm Troopers into Mos Isley. In Goodfellas (1990), the young Henry Hill gets arrested.

Magical Gift. This is often where a Magical Gift is used. In Star Wars (1977), Obi Wan uses his powers. In Jason and the Argonauts (1963), the
