Will You Add? - The Persistence Of An Entrepreneur - Do You Have It?
Finding a job can be a tedious undertaking. But trying to keep a job just to avoid losing it can be even tougher in some people's eyes. Most people are using what ever means that they can to not lose the job they currently have and this can consume a lot of energy.Unemployment can be devastating to your dream of living a happy and productive life. This is why when you find a job that you truly like you should follow some steps that will keep you out of the unemployment line.
3. We have persistence: In order to become a successful entrepreneur we have short term goals and long term goals. We do whatever we have to do to reach our goals. Regardless of appearances we keep our eyes on the goal. As a matter of fact, in our minds we have already reached the goal.

Buying and selling wholesale goods is frequently viewed as a sort of ‘get rich quick’ scheme, where sellers can make enormous profits from very little investment or work. Three months after they started, people just don’t understand why things haven’t gone according to plan! I read in an Anthony Robbins book "Awaken the Giant Within" that we as humans do things for two reasons and they are:
1. To gain pleasure
2. To avoid pain
He also stated that most people would rather hold onto what they have right now than to risk everything for something greater.
For instance: most people the fear of loss is much greater than the desire for gain. Which would drive you more? Keeping someone from stealing the $100,000 you have earned over the last year or the potential of earning another $100,000 in the next year?
Now I do not know about you, but I have the drive to make more rather than worry about losing what I have. Unfortunately most people would work much harder to hang onto what they have, than to take the necessary risks to get what they really want.
Before you start saying to yourself "yeah I want to make more money" ask yourself are you willing to fail in order to reach your goal? If your answer is "yes" then I believe you have what it takes to become an entrepreneur. We do not go into business expecting to fail, but you have to have a goal that is worth persistence regardless of adversity. The only people I have ever met who have the kind of persistence I am talking about is entrepreneurs. So what exactly is an entrepreneur?
My own definition of an entrepreneur comes from the gut and from observation of self and others in their endeavors:
Entrepreneurs are fiercely independent individuals, driven always to find new or improved ways of doing and being. They see obstacles as challenges, and believe – maybe only subconsciously – that they can defy the odds. They are people that just have to walk their own paths sooner or later.
I witness the entrepreneur daily in others. Here’s a short list just from my own past years experience:
1. Somebody who has a goal or idea that is a worthwhile cause and they are willing to act on it regardless of what others say or think.
2. We provide service: If people have problems, most likely an entrepreneur is going to have a solution. For example: People never heard of ATM machines until an entrepreneur came up with the concept. If your only purpose is to make money then you do not have what it takes to become an entrepreneur. As an entrepreneur we love to help people, the more people you help the more money you make.

Recently we concluded the placement of a Senior Sales Representative for a publicly traded company. The role was ripe with potential as the company products were being widely embraced by current and new customers. The recruiting process went smoothly as the candidate progressed through several rounds of face to face interviews with company executives.At the conclusion of the final interview, our candidate was pulled aside by his prospective boss, the Vice President of Sales.

Question: What do you do when you have been pushed into a role you never wanted that is causing havoc with your life? I have been asked to take on a role for the long term, after having been trained to do it for one month initially to cover someone on leave. That person has now left and I have been pushed sideways into the role, with a minimal pay rise and no consideration for my needs or wants. The role is located in a different site and I am the only representative of my company

Meaning that you become that person now that you see yourself as, and you do that thing the person would do then you will have the things that person has. We as a society usually do things backwards. Read some good personal development books to assist you more with this concept. I highly recommend Wallace D. Wattles "The Science Of Getting Rich" It goes into detail about this concept.
5. Believe in yourself regardless of what people say or do that you will succeed. Watch out who you hang out with. "You can scratch with the chickens, or you can soar with the eagles." That is so true, you become who you hang out with.
