    Get More Clients Networking
Most of the small business owners I know (and I know a lot of them) are not really happy with the return they get from their networking. They keep going because there is a positive return, but they want more. There are easy actions you can take to improve your return! One of the most important things to remember for most small business owners is NOT to sell your product/service at the meeting. You're selling the appointment! For example, I give a fr'ee coaching session – that's what I focus on selling at the meeting. If you have a Mary Kay business, you are selling the fr'ee facial. Perhaps you are trying to build your list for your email newsletter, in which case you are selling the

    How To Enjoy Your Summers
Go Into The Summer Proud Of What You've AccomplishedStudy hard! The first piece of advice you should hear about having an enjoyable summer is that you should work hard in school BEFORE your summer vacation. Go into the summer break as a triumphant young scholar who has had victory over every exam and paper they threw at you over the course of the school year. Of course, you can still have a great summer even if you got a D in physics, but you'll have an even better one if you buckle down and get that B, or A.Make Sure You Enjoy Your Summer By Planning ItHow will you plan this summer when you're busy studying for physics? Especially if you're having a challenging year at schoo
I am sure by now everyone remembers the popular commercial that Gatorade had out stating that, “Life is a Sport”. Little did we think back then that particular commercial would be more than just another catchy phrase by another one of those brainy marketing guys at one of those power house Brand name companies. That phrase alone is really a metaphor to what life really is in essence. Life is a sport. We are all players and lets face it, there are winners and losers in this game of life. We all think it, but most of us are afraid to admit it. In school you were uniforms, at work you probably were uniforms, and at home you probably still were uniforms and these particular uniforms define which teams you are on at any particular moment. I want to break this down into the simplest form I can think of. Everyday we wake up we put our game face on. It’s the start to a new chance to gain an advantage on our opponents. We pick out the particular uniform each morning and we prepare for whatever role it is that we play in that uniform. For some of us, that brings excitement while for others that probably brings a since of worthlessness. Just like in sports there are stars, role players, and bench players. Most of the stars control their own destiny and legacy, the role players strive to be stars and wait for opportunity, the bench-warmers are content or rather discontent with where they are but unsure of how to move their name into a better position on the roster. Now, the question is what separates our positions in which we have in life? There is a mirage of things that separate the positions in which we have but the main factors that come into play are motivation, experience, timing, hard work, and last but not least opportunity.

Motivation The motivation of the star players in life usually centers around how to maintain the status in which they are at and how to be better than the other players who are on the same level. This is not as hard of character trait for star player to implement because of their willingness to want to crown themselves as the best of the best. The motivation of the role player is a little different based on some of the other character traits in which they have yet to perfect in an effort to meet star status. Most of the role players carry some type of chip on their shoulder because of the status in which they are currently in and knowing that they are ever so close to reaching the coveted status they aspire for. Lastly, you have the bench-warmers whose biggest character trait is in conflict with the word motivation totally. Bench-warmers have been preconditioned all their life that this is where are supposed to be so they have become complacent and content. Bench-warmers have no clue of how to reverse this psychology to create positive change to improve their position in the game we call life.

Experience This is probably the easiest character trait to explain. Stars have it, role players want it, and bench-warmers will hardly ever get it. Some of the reason for this is already predestined based on the previous level of our predecessor (family) or as I like to call them, coaches. The reality of the situation is that our coaches are the ones who introduce us to the game. If our coaches lack the motivation or knowledge of how to approach the game then that will have a direct impact on its players. The only hope to cirrcum vent this situation is to have both of the next two character traits fall in place and capitalize on it when it happens. Timing I can’t emphasis this character trait enough. Overcoming the 7 Roadblocks Women with Families Face Making Career Changes
Family is the driving force of our lives. You need family to support you and in most homes you need money to support your family. You work to support your family but you usually end up spending little time with them because of your 9-5 job. According to a Gallop poll 70% of Americans hate their jobs.Life is funny sometimes. Its so easy to find yourself in a job you don’t love, in a career that doesn’t drive you or longing for passion in our work. Sometimes we find ourselves there after even a long road of education in a field we were certain was the right choice for us.The good thing about life is that it is forever changing; sometimes due to circumstances and sometimes due to

    Shrink Wrap Tubing
Shrink wrap tubing is the most economical way of packing items. It is almost similar to centerfold shrink film, with the difference that the non-folded side is sealed to create a tube. In shrink wrap tubing, items are tucked in between the folds of the tubing, and then the bottom and top edges are sealed.Shrink wrap tubing is available in PVC, polyethylene and polyolefin. PVC shrink wrap tubing is the most popular type. This is commonly used for packing soaps, battery, candles, CDs and other products. PVC shrink wrap tubing comes with high gloss and clarity, and will shrink at low heat. Thus, PVC shrink wrap tubing is easy to work with. It is available in various sizes, most commonly withi

Large Posters Is One Of The Most Effective Communication Medium
Posters and banners have been in use since early days for communicating any message across a group of people. Communication is the very essence of life and nothing in this world can prosper or progress without the help of effective communication. So whether it is traditional media like television, radio, newspapers, posters, large posters or any other one needs to identify that one means that will be just perfect for whatever they are trying to communicate. One thing that you must realize that is only if the proper medium is used for communication, the message will reach across to people in the manner which one has intended. Large posters are easy to find and one can make use of this effectively
ty of the situation is that our coaches are the ones who introduce us to the game. Timing is everything. We all know this. Think about any sport you want and I know you will come up with the same conclusion and correlation between sports and life. Stars know when to turn it on and that is what makes them stars in our eyes. Michael Jordan knew that the Fourth Quarter was his TIME. Michael Johnson and Carl Lewis knew when they hit that last straight away on the track it was TIME to turn it on. In Baseball, if the count is full with 3 balls and 2 strikes, bases loaded, it’s the bottom of the 9th, and the score is separated by 1 run, both the pitcher and hitter know exactly what TIME it is. Role players are extremely aware of timing as well because they have a keen sense to know that this may catapult them in to the role of stardom that they have been striving for. For bench-warmers this is extremely important because this could be the start of changing your destiny. The ability for the bench-warmer to master this character trait along with the last character trait will heavily play into whether or not they will ever move up the roster of life.

Hard Work No metaphors, no quirks, nothing. It is what it is. In the infamous word of Sean Carter, also known to the Hip Hop world as JAY-Z, “you are what you were before you got here.” There is no substitute for this character trait. Everybody has to ask his or herself this question no matter what position you have on the roster of life because this directly impacts the longevity you will have or grow into over the course of the Game. Stars work hard to stay on top, role player work hard to get on top, and bench-warmers combine this with timing to change their position on the roster.

It has been my experience in life that there comes a time when the game is on line and your team (family or the people who support you) is looking for somebody to take that game winning shot in order to advance. Everyone knows 95% of the world does not want to take that shot. Are you equipped with character traits to step up and be apart of the 5% willing to take that shot?
