Doors by Catering to Your Clients inking.Clients… they are the most important influence in the success of any business. It is vital to keep them satisfied and happy.Clients should be catered to. Their every need should be met and more. We need to make them feel like they are our number one client, as they all are.Catering to our clients should not be anything new to a professional business person. After all, we all know that exceptional customer service is the key to keeping clients happy which, in turn, keeps them coming back for more and influences them to refer you and your business to others. Then, why is it that there are so many times that we have to deal with businesses who don’t put their clients first? We have all had one (or more) of those experiences, haven’t we? And each time I have ever had to deal with someone who doesn’t provide exceptional customer service, I am just mystified as to how they possibly manage to stay in business. Now, catering to your customers does not mean that you should have to sacrifice your integrity or your reputation but it does mean that you have to make them feel like they are the most important customer you have. Whether they spend thousands of dollars on your product or service or they only buy in small amounts at irregular times, they are all important to your success. Every client is a door waiting to be opened and for more business to come walking through. 13) Leaders must be conscious of what is perceived by others and develop strategies that are proactive in building success. Marcano (1997) described this as "know thyself" and further stated that it is important to be honest and objective when evaluating your strengths and abilities, as well as your goals 14) Continual professional growth 15) Leaders need to have a clear sense of their own vision and beliefs Researching – Case study of Serbia I presented the latest It's Never Too Early for Customer Service Leadership is based on two words, "pressure and support"and that the leadership is the power to influence people to move in a direction that you believe in your heart is a good direction for most people" (Fennell, 1999, p. 267). Adams and Yoder noted that "evidence from contemporary studies on sex-roles and leadership indicates that men and women, with similar education, career aspirations and training, have basically identical scores on measures of psychological masculinity and femininity." In other words, the traits we assume are important in good leadership can be found among people of both genders.Setting the StageThe startup environment is one in which feathers are flying and those involved are in perpetual motion (both mentally and physically). Often, in the course of developing products and/or services, chasing down funding and looking for those first precious customers, the concept of a customer service organization falls way behind the back burner. And, while staffing this function and fully equipping it with all of the bells and whistles that are available to customer service organizations may not be the best move in these early stages, it is never too early to build the foundation for this vital function. There are few, if any, entrepreneurs who would actively and knowingly reject the concept of customer service. Of course, everyone knows how important the customer is – right? Well, yes and no. While the idea of providing good customer service seems like an obvious one at any stage of a company’s life, the actual delivery of great service takes much more than just a passing thought or general presumption. In fact, the earliest seeds that need to be planted in any new organization are those representing “top of mind” placement given to customer service at every step in the growing process of that enterprise. This is absolutely not limited to those with the term “customer service” in their job title. As previously stated, it is not necessarily the case What makes a leader is a complex question. It includes factors from the environment in which an individual was raised, his or her family situation, and his or her personality traits. . The following discussion is a summary of my own observations plus some of the conclusions of others According to an overview of research conducted by me ,women are a fast-growing segment of the business community worldwide. The leadership characteristics required to make a success in this new reality are very much “feminine characteristics”. These characteristics include: 1) Self-confidence, an independent mind-set and a willingness to take risks Researching – Case study of Serbia I presented the latest Self-Made Billionaires are Innovators And Risk Takers er words, the traits we assume are important in good leadership can be found among people of both genders.Do you think that dropping out of college to start a business is a risk? Are you a risk taker? Would you drop out of college to start a business? Bill Gates did. He dropped out of Harvard to start Microsoft, which became one of the most innovative companies ever. He's like many self-made billionaires and entrepreneurs; he is a risk-taker and an innovator (actually, that also describes many self-made millionaires).Risk tolerance and innovation are just two of the personality characteristics of self-made billionaires. Here are more: They are entrepreneurial They "step up to the plate" when an opportunity arises They see opportunity where nobody else does They don't procrastinate, they "make it happen" They are full of optimism They accept mistakes because there is an opportunity to learn from failure They enjoy success and thrive to achieve it They appreciate their own personal success They are motivated They know how to invest They make money doing things that they love They practice time-management, meaning they don’t waste their time on meaningless tasks They are influential and persuasive They surround themselves with smart people They have business sense They are fearless They are intelligent Of What makes a leader is a complex question. These characteristics include:An injection of turnaround finance involves saving a potentially insolvent company from irreversible insolvency and returning the company to a stable financial and operational position. The objective is to achieve this whilst maximising creditors' interests and the interests of employees, managers and shareholders. Popularised by such media productions as Dragon’s Den (starting in Japan, now exported to the USA and UK), private wealth may be granted where the investor believes there is a future for the business. This article deals with turnaround finance for both under-performing businesses and businesses that are either insolvent or potentially insolvent. The Progress PathTurnarounds are achieved by a combination of financial, crisis management, restructuring and insolvency skills. The first step is to determine why the company is in the state it is. Realistically, is there anything that can be done to reverse the trend. Analysis is the key to really get into the problem. The analysis will resemble the three legged stool approach. The ‘legs’ vary, but essentially the analysis will get into these three areas: possibilities for restructure, viability and managementRestructureEven a formal restructure involving insolvency doesn’t have to conclude the company. Many companies have found that this experience has forced a re-think of th 1) Self-confidence, an independent mind-set and a willingness to take risks Researching – Case study of Serbia I presented the latest Payroll Time Clocks ipIf you are managing a small business with a growing number of employees, it may be about time for you to purchase payroll time clocks to monitor attendance. There are several models of payroll time clocks suitable for different kinds of businesses and employees.Types of Payroll Time ClocksThe most common is the punch system time clock. Employees slip their time cards through or under the clock to time in and time out. The clock prints on the card the time recorded. There is also the biometric payroll time clock that uses human imprints to recognize employees. The clocks usually identify the employees through a finger, palm or retina scan, and logs in their entry and exit times. There is also a growing number of enterprises that are switching to time clock software. The software is installed on each personal computer unit of the employees. In the morning, the employees turn on their computers and log on. The log on is their time on record. At the end of the day, they log out for their time out record. If you own a very small business startup, you can have the badge reader time clock system. For this device, only one person—you—can time in and time out for the employees.Payroll Time Clock Software Generates Reports FasterModern payroll time clocks come with software that makes it easier for the payroll unit to generate reports and compute payroll, overtime pay, an 6) Integration of personal and profession 7) Intuition 8) Social skills 9) Direction 10) –Hires competent, trustworthy people (not putting priority on loyalty) 11) –See communication and conflict resolution as key to organizational success 12) Men and women tend to lead in different ways.Namely, women leadership strategy is based on family pattern. Once Alexander Graham Bell got it working, it spread like the southern kudzu vine. In less than two years after the first "Watson, come here I need you" conversation, there were enough telephones for a "central office" and someone to connect and disconnect the callers (1878).The fastest growing of the new Bells was the New Haven Telephone Company (Connecticut) There were enough people "on line" to cause them to publish a little white card with the names of all 50 subscribers. The headings were divided into four sections:residential, professional, miscellaneous and essential service listings. Thus, the first telephone "book"Early directories only listed names; numbers were not needed because operators made the connections for each caller. In 1886, when Reuben H. Donnelley established the first classified telephone directory advertising, he helped create an entire industry that we know as the Yellow Pages. No one knows for sure how those pages turned yellow. They didn't start that way. Legend has it the printer ran out of white paper in 1883 and rather than wait weeks for a new shipment, used yellow. Then followed research that showed that black type on yellow paper combination was the easiest colors to read, other than black on white. For the most part, the Yellow Pages were the exclusive monopoly of the RH Donnelley and the tele 13) Leaders must be conscious of what is perceived by others and develop strategies that are proactive in building success.
