    Discontentment in the Workplace
While more people are finding employment, more employed workers are discontent and experiencing frustration. In most cases it can be boiled down to four factors: feeling undervalued, unappreciated and powerless, and world events. You can possess a tremendous amount of creativity and skill, but if you aren’t given opportunities to utilize and express these qualities to their fullest, frustration can quickly set in. For most employees, there is a huge differential between what they can bring to the table and the responsibilities they have been given. It’s rare that you hear of someone working a forty-hour week. These days, fifty and sixty-hour weeks have become commonplace. What hasn’t change
I would like to give some advice to all the up and coming entrepreneurs; if you really want to be a superstar not only do you have to work harder and smarter than the competition, but you must always keep learning. I built a company from a bucket of water and a sponge into a National Car Wash Franchise System in 23 states. To do this you need to know more than what they taught you in school and you can never turn off your brain. Every person is different and has different interests. But I would like you to read thru my recommended reading list. This is a list I hand out to MBA and Entrepreneurial Students when I give speeches. It is a list of recommended book, biography, audio tapes and movies.

I see the need for the modern Entrepreneur for on going learning, which must not stop after HS. In order to continue a life long education it is important to understand and observe the world, understand our places in it. We must also realize the ideals that got us here and the people who worked so hard to bring about the change needed to propel mankind's future. Below is a list of recommended Biographies, Books, Audio Tapes and Movies, which can assist you in your lifetime of learning and your pursuit of happiness as you Entrepreneur warriors deliver mankind everything we see, every where we go. We owe it all to you; you are the most noble of all people, you are the builders of civilization. I thank you for your continued efforts and urge you to continue your education do you can be even stronger.

Creative Customer Service Can Clinch the Sale
What is creative customer service and how can you apply this to your company? Well, creative customer service is exactly as it sounds. It is finding ways to give the customer an extra and unexpected treat to exceed their expectations and you can do this really easy. For instance if it is valentines day, give them a little heart pin to wear, sure it may cost you a little bit to do this for all your customers, but it is worth it and if you buy in bulk it will not cost much. When I was a young man we ran auto detail shops and we use to leave a red rose, a piece of candy and a thank you card in every females car we did. It surely clinched sales, referrals and the word of mouth eventually got all around t

    Career Search from Within
Seeking meaningful and fulfilling work can become a discouraging, confusing and overwhelming journey. Beware spending too much time looking for your answers outside of yourself. Ultimately, coming to know our right livelihood is the inner work of our whole being. In order to nurture our well-being and come to our right livelihood; it is best to frequently pause and halt the busy "doing and thinking" process. Pause, relax and trust. This runs contrary to the belief espoused within the employment industry of "looking for a job is a full-time job." Woe upon those who follow this motto.Follow the Voice of Your HeartIf we push ourselves non-stop into our career/job search (or within o pursuit of happiness as you Entrepreneur warriors deliver mankind everything we see, every where we go. What to Say When the Media Calls
If the media were to call you today for an interview, would you know what to do or say? That question was posed during a recent conference on small-business ownership and micro enterprise creation, which was held here in Paris. I watched the reactions around the room, and it occurred to me that for most small-business owners, the only thing more frightening than conducting a follow-up phone call with a reporter is having that same reporter actually interview them. There is only one way to overcome the fear. You have to simply adopt and apply an old U.S. Army recruitment slogan, "Be Prepared." Don't get caught without an answer the next time the media calls. Follow these quick tips for success:retsky
