In that cup was denial of justice, scourging, mockery, rejection by man and God, crucifixion and death. If God had answered that request, I would have ended in hell. The whole world would have retained their sin. God's salvation plan would have hit the rocks. The second Adam would have failed. Either a third Adam would have had to come or God would have discarded the idea of salvation. Many would have forever been lost. Thank God I Ic ignored that prayer! It would have cost us everything.
