His solution: He appointed an ad hoc committee to meet before our main meetings to discuss the goals and agenda for the meeting to follow. Then this ad hoc committee would stay after the main meeting to discuss what happened and to evaluate the success of the main meeting. So instead of reducing meeting time, he tripled it.
