Minding Your Own Brand - Why Can't I Get That With Whipped Cream?
A few weeks ago, some friends and I were on our yearly trip to Nantucket. According to ritual we stopped by our favorite ice cream shop as soon as we got off the boat. My friend asked for whipped cream on his small cup of chocolate ice cream. The clerk proceeded to tell him that “whipped cream only comes with sundaes.” Thinking it was a cost issue, he offered to pay the extra twenty-five cents that they charge to put candy on a cup of ice c

Can You Make Money Without Spending Money On The Internet?
I gave a quick consultation with one of my subscribers, and he wanted to become the next internet millionaire in two years time. This guy was extremely excited and I can tell by the way he typed to me on the instant messenger that he really wanted to make big money as soon as possibleThere was just one MAJOR problem. Focus on fewer people AND make more money?

This doesn't seem logical. However, it's true. If you dare to focus your efforts on a select group of people you will enjoy more success and it will be easier and more fun!

The key is to claim a niche -a select group of people whom you serve to the point where you become an expert. This results in being better known, getting great referrals, having greater success and making more money!

Just think for a moment about a favorite article. The one where you would swear the author was writing directly to you, as if he had a video camera into your world. That's what it's like having a niche.

Imagine the energy you'll have by only working with those ideal clients that make your heart sing!

Claiming who is your ideal client is easier than it might sound.

    Are You Dramatically Different?
One of the best books you will ever discover to help you grow your business is Doug Hall's 'Jump Start Your Business Brain'. It is an underground classic that is absolutely wonderful advice - it is the book that helped me break free of mediocrity into a life I absolutely love. One of his biggest points in the book is how you can create a company that is *dramatically different* than any, and every, competitor in your marketplace.

Five Things to Do while Waiting for a Job Interview
You have arrived at your appointment for a job interview two hours early because you didn’t want to be late. Now you have found the place where the company told you they would meet you for the interview but you have time on your hands. What should you do?
