And that whenever we talk about anything we'll be talking about YOUR numbers, and the NUMBERS that others have achieved, therefore showing you what your targets should or could be. We know what IS possible, what IS so-so, what is INCREDIBLE, head toward the RIGHT one, and then make it EVEN better as we go. We always find the MULTIPLIER to multiply current results by several times from where we are. It isn't that hard. In fact it is simple.

    Here is a simple, but MAJOR guideline for a change in your thought:

    • o Stop talking about YOU, YOUR product, YOUR services, YOUR experience, or anything about YOU.
    • o Start talking about the prospect, his RESULTS, and his VALUE.
    5 Times Increase --Whenever any of my clients have just started getting that they report that their marketing response, and their ultimate sales went up at least 5 times from what it was before. (By the way, do you know what your marketing response rate is?)

    A recent client, who, by the way, said she had been in marketing for over 20 years in a big company had started running her own small business. Even with over 20 years of "marketing experience" she wasn't having much luck running her own small business.

    Sort of says a lot about how marketing is done doesn't it? When you are running your own business you can't rely on some of the so-so things. You have to actually DELIVER, and deliver more than just a little. It means that you have to really succeed. Another Aha I've had is that there are a LOT of so-called marketing companies out there, but they aren't focused on deliver measurable RESULTS, only on producing ads...whether they work or not......Which is why I always tell me clients....Ask what kinds of measurable RESULTS they deliver before hiring a marketing company.....OK I'll get off my soapbox now.

At best that was a weak so-so response from even that one person. However, by changing to talking about the measurable results that someone would get she was now getting 5 people at each and every networking event actually excitedly ASKING HER for an appointment.

    More business in 4 weeks than in Previous 7 months--After improving that even further, she reported that in 4 weeks she had more business than she had in the last 7 months since she started up. What would that be worth to you....to get more business in the next 3-4 weeks than you have had since startup?
