I use the word 'exude' because that's what takes place when someone is confident, they're exuding, allowing what is to be expressed, the confidence that is within them to be expressed. That means it was in them all along, and their expression of confidence is simply that they've accessed what is within.

    Confidence is one of the aspects of self you already own. If you're not experiencing it, you just haven't accessed it so it can exude from you; it's just an aspect of you that's currently dormant. With this in mind, as you go through these steps, feel what comes up for you if you were to allow yourself to exude what's already within you.

    1. BEGIN WHERE YOU ARE with what you have. The good news is that you already have within you the confidence you admire in others. If you didn't, you wouldn't recognize it in another. Confident people have brains, you have a brain; they have feelings, you have feelings; they simply know how to USE their thoughts and feelings to their advantage. You can also use your thoughts and feelings to your advantage. How? By FEELING yourself AS confident.

    2. ELIMINATE SELF-SABOTAGE. To stop keeping yourself from reaching the confidence level you really want, it's vital that you realize the thoughts and feelings that deplete you. Every time you think anything that doesn't resonate with CONFIDENCE in capital letters, find another thought that will feel confident. It's important to CHOOSE the feeling you want to experience. You can't think two thoughts at the same time, so why not choose one that feels better?

    3. THINK & FEEL Confidence. Notice how often your thoughts are 'anti- confident'. Simply by virtue of being alive and in any proximity to other human beings, we've learned though many experiences to be critical of ourselves. Our "critical mind" gets in the way and becomes a kind of default mechanism that runs in the background, critiquing and ready to jump on any new, positive thought that is different from what we've been thinking. The good news is that this can change more easily than you think.

    4. FOCUS YOUR ATTENTION DELIBERATELY, and you continually fine-tune and raise your thought and feeling frequencies to the level where they'll benefit you greatly.

    As an exercise, notice for yourself, in this NOW moment, the difference between when you think and when you feel. Can you tell the difference?     On the other hand, maybe it's payday, and you're looking forward to preparing a special dinner for your special friends or family. In this case, no matter if it's late and there's traffic. Your preparation of this special dinner is coming from a place of love and joy. It's something that you very much wish to do. Do you notice the difference in the feelings connnected with this? How different they are, the two plans for preparing dinner. In fact, the action, within the physical universe, is the same - the action of shopping for groceries to make dinner. It is YOU who decides how you will feel about it. It is you who, through your emotions, determines the frequency of the action in question.

    5. 'BE' CONFIDENCE. Act AS IF you were confident. Even if you have to pretend until you actually feel it, begin collecting confident feelings by practicing them. This strengthens your imagination muscle, this actually becomes part of you cellular memory so that the physical representation of what you think and feel attracts more and more like thought and feeling vibrations, to itself ~ the more your use it, the easier you can access it.

    After practicing these 5 steps, your confidence will no longer be dormant and subject to outside influences; it will be activated, turned on. And sooner than you think, your confidence will become yet another natural expression of you that simply is! The more often you feel it deliberately (confidence, being powerful), the more often you'll experience it naturally.
