    Employee Time Clock System
Employee time clocks are time systems used by organizations to accurately record the number of hours worked by each employee every week. The clocks have evolved with time and the companies still need some sort of system that they can use to generate payroll and ensure that the employees are paid for each hour they worked. Today, employees use swipe cards with a magnetic stripe through a slot that reads their name and records the time every time they clock in or out, much like the old punch clock system of long ago.At the end of a work week, the main computer computes the total hours worked for every em

You may be in a position where you have been considering starting up your own business, or you may have a business but are ready to take it to the next level, but for one reason or another have been putting off the steps necessary to ‘go there’. You have to set goals to make it reality, however. Often fear is what holds us back from setting goals. What if you fail? Or what if you succeed?? You want it but it scares you terribly!Less than three percent of all Americans have written down goals. Eight out of 10 businesses
It is easy to get caught up in the bloodshed and threats to our security, no matter where in the world we live. However, being American can be doubly difficult since the fall of the Berlin Wall and the tragedy of 9/11, where as the world's only Superpower we are caught up in every web of tragedy that the world spins.

And with the knowledge that terrorists aren't weaker since the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq but instead are growing stronger, evidence Hezbollah's ability to destroy an Israeli ship and strike its third largest city by missile, the fear that danger sits on our shores and laps at our coastal communities is real and growing.

So, what is an American business person to do? I speak specifically to the business person, because as a consultant and a business person that is my work community but most important, we wield a great deal of influence and power and how we use that power is critical to not only economic but also to our very survival.

    Medical Billing - Multiple Batches
One of the most confusing parts of medical billing and the electronic submission of claims is the batch. Most billers don't understand why you even need to have multiple batches. Can't all the claims just go inside one package and get shipped? Well, with paper, yes. But if you're a big billing house and billing for a number of providers, then the process isn't that simple. Before we go into our detailed review of the YA0 record, an explanation of batches is probably in order.Because of the way claims are paid, especially by the big insurance companies or government agencies, keeping track of batch

Quick Tips - Foot Out of Mouth Apologies
Who would have thought a year ago that Don Imus, Mel Gibson, and Michael Richards would find themselves drowning in a negative sea of publicity over something they said. Job Interview 101
It’s a tough job market out there. It is sufficiently tough that when you are lucky enough to get a job interview, make the most of the opportunity.Dress properly for the job you are being interviewed for and the company giving it.If you interview for a job as a mail clerk with a bank, for example, you might think “mail room equals casual clothes.” If the employer is local, it is a good idea to stroll through the lobby before the interview and absorb the ambiance. In these troubled times, I believe we business people have a responsibility to ourselves, our clients and customers, our friends and family, our country and the world to do the following:

    1. Continue to grow our businesses. Our clients and our customers need good products and services at a fair price and that provide good value not only for their basic needs but for their growth. The world economy needs to stay strong no matter the states of politics or war. And our families and communities need life's essential gifts to stay strong, which come from the earnings that we make and reinvest in our businesses and our communities.
    2. Do not become conservative in our business practices, which ultimately hurts business growth and profits. Invest in growth and innovation; take calculated risks; understand and employ the appropriate best practices.
    3. Seek outside knowledge and advice from every source--including business peers, our employees, business books and articles, and business experts--to ensure our businesses look outward, avoid the trap of doing only that which is familiar and traditional, and employ forward thinking to avoid getting stuck in the past.
    4. More than ever,
