Create Your Methodology Based on a Standard Framework - Part One
OK. So you have decided that your organization has to improve the way in which it works. You have chosen to implement a methodology as the best way to achieve this goal. And now you ask yourself, where do I start? Whatever the discipline you are trying to model (from software development to supply chain management), it is highly probable that a standard framework exists, that can serve as the basis for your own methodology.WHAT IS A STANDARD FRAMEWORK?A standard framework is a set of best practices, normally expressed as a set of repeatable processes created by an organization (a professional association, university, public administration, etc...). These frameworks are sometimes referred to as bodies of knowledge, methodologies, etc...Standard frameworks cannot be a

But this is not what Jesus came to teach. Jesus came to proclaim that laws can be broken in the name of kindness and love. Jesus brought a new teaching that changed our world because it wasn’t about condemning people it was about loving people.

Isaiah 56:3-6, "Let no foreigner who has bound himself to the Lord say, 'The Lord will surely exclude me from his people.'

And let not any eunuch complain, 'I am only a dry tree.'

For this is what the Lord says: 'To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant-to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.'"

Families all around the world, from all walks of life, gathered around their television for the latest breaking news. A famous anchorman had just confessed for the last thirty years he had been a closeted homosexual. Most people did not believe it was true.

It seems that this man had stayed married and was faithful to his wife for over thirty years. Raised a family, saw his children through college and even marriage, he never acted on his feelings for the same sex until now.

Does all the achievements of this man get thrown aside because now he is gay? Does his faithfulness to his wife and children count for nothing? Is the religious right justified when they tell all of their listeners to stop watching this particular man's broadcast?

What makes a person good or bad? Is it their sexual orientation? Or rather is it what kind of person they are when they face problems. Does the person display integrity? Does he show, by his actions, that he is of high moral character? Is he trustworthy and a person you can count on when you're going through hard times?

A woman who had committed adultery was brought to Jesus so he would condemn her to death. It was only right for Him to do this because this was the command as written in the Jewish law for handling such women. Instead Jesus shocked the people!

John 8:7, "As they stood there asking him questions, he straightened up and said to them, 'Which ever one of you has committed no sin may throw the first stone at her.'"

All people involved listened to what Jesus said and allowed the woman to go free without judgment. Jesus had just broken a law by letting this woman go unpunished for her sin. So if this is the case, which Laws of Moses are we suppose to follow and which laws are meant to be broken?

What makes people good or bad? Is it their ability to judge the difference between right and wrong? Or is it how we show compassion while urging a person to look at their life and make their own choice to change.

Jesus asked a Samaritan woman to give Him a drink of water. It was totally forbidden in the Jewish Law to have anything to do with these people. It's like a gang member talking to one of the rival gangs, it is forbidden and usually results in blood shed. Jesus overstepped these boundaries and broke the law in order to convince this woman to believe that He was the promised Messiah. Jesus crossed ethnic barriers, because he loved all people equally.

Jesus called Matthew, a Jewish man, who was a despised tax collector for the Roman government. Matthew invited him to a meal at his home.

Matthew 9:10-13, "While Jesus was having a meal in Matthew's house, many tax collectors and other outcasts came and joined Jesus and his disciples at the table. Some Pharisees saw this and asked his disciples, 'Why does your teacher eat with such people?'

Jesus heard them and answered, 'People who are well do not need a doctor, but only those who are sick. Go and find out what is meant by the scripture that says: 'It is kindness that I want, not animal sacrifices.' I have not come to call respectable people, but outcasts.'"

What makes a person good or bad? According to Jesus it is not what family you were born into. It is not what sexual sin you committed. It is not about what kind of job you have. It is not about the evil that all men commit. It is about kindness. It is about the love we have for God, who created every good thing on this earth.

When Jesus made this statement, He was actually quoting Hosea.

Hosea 6: 5&6, "That is why I have sent my prophets to you with my message of judgment and destruction. What I want from you is plain and clear: I want your constant love, not your animal sacrifices. I would rather have my people know me than burn offerings to me."

What makes a person good or bad? It is whether or not that person knows God. A good person loves God. A good person shows compassion to others. A good person does not judge.

We live in a very complicated world where judgment is the reason why we fight wars against other countries. Judgment condemns the murderer. Judgment makes societies, churches, and families throw out their children in the name of sin.

But this is not what Jesus came to teach. Jesus came to proclaim that laws can be broken in the name of kindness and love. Jesus brought a new teaching that changed our world because it wasn’t about condemning people it was about loving people.

Mortgage People, Are You In Control?
I had an interesting discussion with someone today over what contact info should be on your business card, if you actually use one. I’m sure you’ll figure out which side I was on by the time this Mailbag is over. How does this relate to the Pay Option Arm? Let’s see if you follow my logic at the end. There were two sides to this debate:Side One: You should have as much contact info as possible on your card so you can be accessible at all times. Since you are in sales, you should be accessible at all hours to answer questions. Your clients should know they are able to contact you at any time they have a question. With all your personal info listed on one card, people will know that you are willing to help at anytime.Side Two: The info on your business card should be limited to your

    A Recipe For Disaster
For all of us running our own business we have come across disgruntled customers and most of us employ the philosophy that “the customer is always right”. Well what about when the customer isn’t right, or the customer says one thing and does another. We have found in our coaching and consulting that the best way to teach something or explain something is by example, so here is the scenario. We spoke with a former customer about making a major purchase with us, they gave us their credit card information and since the weekend was around the corner ran the card shortly thereafter. The customer was going on vacation and we were going out of town that weekend.Later that evening we got a call from this customer kind of jumbled but something about how he remembered why he couldn’t do something

    GoDaddy's Super Bowl Commercial Success
GoDaddy made a calculated decision to nationally “brand” their name using the Super Bowl commercial. They also decided to make their commercial “news” by making it a racy play off of last year’s Janet Jackson fiasco using the Senate Hearings theme. This made the commercial more then just a commercial. It made it News. I read about the commercial in Time magazine 2 weeks before the Super Bowl even aired it. Using this clever trick GoDaddy was able to make the most of their airtime by receiving press before and after the commercial. This extra press only further “branded” their name with consumers.Paying a large amount for one 30 second commercial can be a large gamble for any company, especially one trying to mark their image on the minds of consumers. But to make the commercial newsworthy practically

10 Reasons To Form A Strategic Business Alliance
A strategic alliance is when two or more businesses join together for a set period of time. The businesses, usually, are not in direct competition, but have similar products or services that are directed toward the same target audience. Below are ten reasons to create a strategic alliance.1. You could offer your customers a larger variety of products or services. This will allow you to spend less time and money developing new products to sell.2. Your number of sales people will increase because you're combining with other business. You won't have spend to time and money hiring new employees.3. Your marketing and advertising budget will increase. When you form a strategic alliance with other businesses you both will share the advertising and marketing costs.4. You can no

What makes a person good or bad? According to these scriptures everyone is welcomed into the loving arms of God. Many people do not understand that eunuchs refer to female men. They were gay men that were not attracted to women, this way they could be completely trusted not to commit adultery with the kings wives. The eunuch's roles in the kingdom was to mange the affairs of high society women.

Why does the Religious Right condemn gay people? Many have never done the research to see they have made wrong judgments. Some have the facts, but are unwilling to stand up to the ones who are in charge of the church denominations. Most would rather turn there backs because when you stand up for truth you are persecuted by those who use churches for their on propaganda.

What makes a person good or bad? A good person speaks the truth and never judges another person. We accept people for who they are and we love our families unconditionally never allowing another person to tell us not to love.

What makes a person good or bad? A bad person is someone who tells us what to believe separate from the real truth. A bad person is someone who is constantly judging. A bad person would rather hate than love.

To know God is to walk into the light of a new understanding. Pick up your Bible and read it. Listen to the Holy Spirit that prompts you to love. Pray and believe that Jesus can and will save you when you are judged unfairly. Remember most of all, God is Love!
