Many marketing consultants say that small business should not get frustrated, angry or irate when their marketing does not bring instant results to their companies. These marketing consultants generally believe that good marketing builds brands and that takes time. Thirty seconds doesn’t give you long to convey who you authentically are, in fact if you are dressed and looking like your authentic self then people that may usually be attracted to you and you to them may not be attracted to you because you aren’t dressed like yourself. That is why it is crucial to convey the true you to the world, so that the world knows this is who you are, and by dressing and looking like yourself this is what you expect to attract in your life from others.
It is important to realize that although we live in a world where we wish appearances didn’t count, the truth is they do and we can make this work to our advantage. We can spread our wings by dressing and looking the part of what we see on the inside of us. Embrassing creativity is a part of living anuthentically (we will be exploring this in latter chapters), but for now we must realize that we have this unique gift where we can choose to dress the way we want and we should pride ourselves in doing so.
