I can honestly say with hand on heart that lake rentals have proved to be the best family vacations we've ever had. Sure, we've done the Disney thing, and a few enjoyable trips to the coast, but as a family, there has never been any vacation which unites us and provides us with so much fun and activity, along with peace and tranquility, as the lakes and lake rental accommodations found around the beautiful lakes of North America.

Maybe the lake rentals have not been on your shortlist of holiday hopefuls, but I would urge anyone to try it at least once. You could start with a long weekend break, just to test the water so to speak.
