A little creativity is all you need! Play it in your mind. How do you think it will be best for your party to be illuminated?
Let’s start with the main light you’ll use. This will be the light that will let everyone see. When we think about party light we do not see a bright room because brightness usually tells ourselves that it’s time for us to do something. The party is the time for us to relax and let go of everything. That’s why when we start making the main light we have to make it a bit dim but still we have to prepare enough light in order for us to see everything in the room.
Now when we are ready with the main light let’s talk about the support lights. These are usually some constant little lights that bring a misty feeling. They are used mainly for atmosphere and they have to make us feel comfortable. Candles were used for that before but now it could be a good idea to use some LEDs. They don’t have to be colorful or if they are they have to be in one soothing color. It’s a good idea when we make support light to make it in a way that let us see even when the main light is off. This will create a romantic feeling when it’s needed. Romance sometimes is not about words. Perhaps in the right moment with some good lighting the words may become even needless...
