    (3) “Let’s” is a You-and-I-will-do-this-together, term. I’m not closing you. We’re deciding, together. Being mutual, it’s more agreeable and less threatening.

    (4) “I know you’ll be pleased” is a confidence booster, just when you need it. You’re saying you are convinced, so they should follow along.
