Break It Down To Close The Sale
Most sales people I’ve known throughout my career continually highlight the importance of ‘the close.’ “You’ve gotta perfect the close,” they’d say like it was a quote from Solomon. Personally I’ve always felt that effective prospecting and more specifically qualification and getting referrals were the keys to success in sales. When you have a fully qualified lead in front of you I’ve often found that they close themselves once you don’t talk too much and mess it up.
money to send everyone for a holiday, that is.

I am not even talking about network marketing or direct selling here, don’t get me wrong. If you’re involved in one, good for you and I hope you have the patience and perseverance (and a supportive upline) for it. But I am talking about any other types of home

    Hiring a Consultant
The choice to hire a consultant for business or personal projects is often more difficult then determining the steps for the project itself, but there are several things you can do to help make deciding to hire, choosing and hiring a consultant easier.Do you need a consultant? If you are asking the question, the likely answer is yes. Perhaps a better question may be “at what point do you need a consultant?” The beginning is a good answer. Of course, cons
The bad things starts with the letter ‘O’….like Obstacles, Obstruction, Obscene….overly-poor? There’s bound to obstructions and obstacles in everything that we do in life. Like riding a bicycle. We get a few scrapes and bruises and think that we’re never going to ride a bike ever again. We try to blow bubblegum and we blow it up in our own face and have our laughing friends jeering at us. We try to dress up only to find out that we look dowdy. Everything in life, there’s an obstacle.

And why should having a home based business be any different?

One of the biggest obstacles in a home based business…at least in starting it…are family members.

I mean, who would’ve thought, right? Being on your own is all about being free, being independent and reliant on noone but yourself. And yet, your family members are the first ones to stand up, with hands raised in the hair, to say ‘OBJECTION’!

    Well, too bad. Objection denied.

Family members want the best for you. they want to see you succeed and maybe they think that taking this path is not the right thing to do but it’s entirely up to you to prove to them that this is the RIGHT way. Starting your own home business and making enough money to pay the bill….HECK, making enough money to send everyone for a holiday, that is.

Why Clean Mobile Homes for a Business?
Manufactured and Mobile Home owners know that the weather this year will be quite harsh. It’s imperative these owners to clean out rain gutters and debris from on top of their homes. They realize that they must thoroughly wash off this summer’s dirt so they do not have drip marks on the sides of their cottages this winter. They must eliminate the mold buildup, and unsightly stains. Those mobile homes which have not been cleaned all Winter must have their rain gutte

Agent Recruiting in 2006: Not the Same Old Drill
Let's start off with a given. The 2006 real estate market is tough and unlike anything we've seen in five years. The problem is if we go back five years, it was the advent of the Internet in residential brokerage. We're at an historical point in our business. While the go-go market was going on, real estate consumers changed. Now that we're in a more traditional market, we can't rely on our traditional habits of recruiting and training agents. It's painful, but

Elementary School Fundraisers Are No Different From Others
If you are thinking of elementary school fundraisers there are many things to choose from. There are many companies willing to provide you with items to sell and they usually do this at a reasonable rate so you can walk away with a nice profit at the end of the day. The elementary school fundraisers are usually left up to the moms of the kids to get these things together. To have your fundraiser you will have to decide on what product you want to sell. There is

    Franchises - Good and Bad
Even though franchising per se is a sound business concept, there are good and bad franchises and a prospective franchisee needs to discern the difference between the two.Since choosing a franchise is a major decision, a prospect has to consider many factors before taking the final plunge. Initially, however, he should first list down his preferences, personality traits, and management style. He should go into a business that matches who he is, and how he ru

Liberating the soul and freeing the mind In the working world, there are just too many obstacles and obstructions to the way things work. Just to get a document approved, at least 5 people have to look through it and sign it. By the time the memo or recommendation is approved, wouldn’t be a mite too late? But hey, who cares? It’s the working world and this is the way things work in the working word, isn’t it?

Working from home or running and home based business is all about liberating the soul and freeing the mind from the constraints of the working world. Things get done faster and you work more efficiently. Take advantage of that.

Your kids You’re doing it for the kids, did you say? And did I just hear your kids whining in the background and you hollering to them to ‘shut up’? or was it my kids?

When kids grow, they start to compare their family structure to others. And when they see you working day in and day out on your computer or crocheting endlessly in your working chair, they think you’re having fun. You’re home and home is where fun is. Work is outside the house, because that’s what their friends’ parents do. They work outside.

And when they start wondering about these s
