Change Management Necessary when It is Time for Change
Too often corporate boards of directors fear change management because they fear shaking things up, which might make things worse. However when it is time for a change; change management is necessary and often it will be for the better. It would be hard to debate that change management in corporations does cause stress on the executive teams and often, temporary chaos. But that is not to say we should accept this or fail to make a change when he changes needed.Change management is necessary when it is time for a change and it is time to distinguish the goals of the forward progression of the company with the goals of inter fiefdoms, which have been grown over time using the primate politics of mankind. Unfortunately all too often in corporate America we find departm

Marketing Art - How to Get Started
Often after creating art for a while, artists start to consider selling their artwork. But how do you get started or even know if selling your work is right for you? First, ask yourself “ Why do I want to sell my art?” It often seems like the logical next step and you see other people doing it- but you really have to consider if you are ready to share your work with others and willing to part with your work. Are you interested in selling your work because you want to? Or is a well-intentioned spouse or family member encouraging you to do so without perhaps understanding the emotional side of putting your work out there for others to respond to? Creating artwork is one of the true joys of life and you don’t want the pressures of selling to weigh on you and take away from th
Ah, the bliss of waking up when you want, going to the gym and coming back home to realize while you were gone for an hour or so, your computer made you $75. There is something about making money while I am doing what I want that really makes me happy.

I think back to when I was in high school (which was not all that long ago, as I am only 26 years old) and all the teachers taught us that we needed to go to college so we can get a good job. Don’t get me wrong, all kids should try to experience college. If not for the high paying job, simply for the light shedding experience it brings your life. Being from a small town, I never would have gotten to live with the types of people I lived with, go to the places I went, and frankly drinks as many beers as I did! If nothing more, college makes you a more rounded person. However, it is sad to see that there is a massive lack of entrepreneurial spirit. Perhaps maybe this was my particular University, but the many people I spoke with before writing this article tend to agree. The major lesson is the same as high school. Learn as much as you can about a particular field so you can get a good job and make somebody else rich. I can’t help but wonder how different this world would be if more people were taught to think outside the box and start there own businesses.

Fortunately enough for me, I was always thinking just a little different from most of my friends. The idea of getting a 9-5 job mad me unhappy. Creativity and Motivation: Traits From Within
IntroductionThe "entrepreneur" is one who creates a new business in the hopes of making a profit. If this is a valid definition of the term, then it is essential that businesses today utilize "entrepreneurial skills" in order to compete against rival corporations and small businesses that have become an even greater threat than before. Akio Morita is known to have said that initially Sony had three years of competitive-free sales before a rival came up with a product that bit into their margin but near his retirement, that "window" had changed from three years to three months. As the time to market is decreasing rapidly due to the increase of global competition and other powerful market forces, companies can no longer follow their tradit

6 Great Ways to Use E-Technology to Fund Your Business - and When Not to Use It At All
Beginning with Dible’s Up Your Own Organization several decades ago, business plans have been nearly sacred tools in communicating with potential lenders and investors. Now the electronic age has brought an avalanche of new gizmos to the equation, such as CDs, emails, and online business plans. A cell phone number has become as essential as a business land line.Just how useful are these gizmos, really? In truth, by themselves, they are just not very useful at all.For instance, it is not unusual for me to receive emails with business plans attached. Some come with a cover note in the email, some don’t. They all get trashed without being opened. What the dickens makes that entrepreneur think that I’m going to spend my time and money to open the bu

In fact most people not only can’t pay their current debts, but they are actually sinking deeper and deeper with each passing year. They resort to paying bills with credit cards completing the vicious circle.

First off, lets give a basic definition of what is means to be financially free. Financial freedom comes when you no longer have to worry about money. You are making more money from you passive streams of income than you are spending. You can basically live off of your investments. It’s sounds clich?, but the best way to describe it is like a money tree. You can pick off some fruit when you need it, and it will grow back more. While more fruit is growing, you are planting seeds for other money trees. Eventually with some hard work, you will have a self sufficient money forest! With a little care, and some tending, it will continue to flourish and increase in size. Why is it that some people are able to break the mold and become financially free, while other struggle to get by. Well, there are many reasons, and methods for becoming financially free but there is almost always one common denominator. The common denominator is “Leverage.” You see there is not enough time in the day to get there with only one small stream of income from you job. You would have to work around the clock.
