    Old Accounts In New Agencies
You know the maxim of bottles & wines right? I have a theory that says that old wine in any bottle has to taste better. If the taste is not to your liking, chances are that its time to change your drink.Public Relations agencies take pride in old and steady relationships. We do too! But a spate of recent pitches that we were invited to shock-struck my eyes open. Thrilled as we were to attend these pitches, we were gloating in the fact that Blue Lotus was making dents into decade old relationships. We were also exci

    Marketing for Builders Using DVD
“I was starting to talk faster and faster to this young couple. Unfortunately, I had determined that they were just “tire kicking” and weren’t really ready for a home,” said my client. My home builder continued with his tale;"Without being rude, I was trying to send them on their way because another couple had been wandering through the model for about 10 minutes now and I was stuck with the young couple. After they left, I quickly walked through the model trying to track the other couple down. I abruptly walked int
When anyone logs on to the Internet and wishes to find any kind of information, they always head to either a search engine or a directory. Many people think they are the same thing, but there are some major differences. Let's explore what's makes a directory different from a search engine and find out how each one works.

    Search Engines

A search engine is basically a website where you can type in a word or phrase about whatever it is you're looking for. A great example of a true search engine is Google. On their main page, it's very simple, they have a one field form where you type in your query and click a button to tell Google to search its database for results that include this word or phrase. Google will come back with a page that lists the top 10 websites for that particular query. Google ranks sites in their results according to many different factors, including how many times a word or phrase appears in the text of the page, how many sites link to it, how many times keywords are included in the site's code and many, many other

    Entrepreneurs Control the Opportunity
After spending whatever time and energy might be necessary, you find the business opportunity that you think might be just right for you. Now you have to control the opportunity during the time it takes to be sure. You don't want to lose it to someone else and you don't want the seller to change his or her mind.At this stage many people find it impossible to think of anything except how they are going to get the money, or what price can they get the business for or if the employee they see as most important will s

Make your Writing or Marketing Projects your Top Priority
When you finish your eBook or print books, you have a product you can sell. After you finish the book be sure to write the all important sales letter. The sales letter is the key to sales flooding in. Each book will market another book. Books help promote your service as well. Like a messy room full of clutter, you just want to close the door on your project. If you really don't want it now, then make it ok not to do it. The 5 Senses of an Entrepreneur
If you have seen me speak you will know that I believe the word ‘entrepreneur’ is used way too much these days. People seem to wear it as a badge instead of just getting out there and doing entrepreneurial things. Just because you run or own a successful business doesn’t necessarily mean that you an entrepreneur.Entrepreneurs have a different mindset to others. They will go way above and beyond to complete and finish something that they have started.I have developed what I call the 5 senses of an entreprene

Other true search engines behave in a similar fashion to Google but they may rank sites using different factors than Google.

A true search engine works by sending out a spider or crawler, which is a program or script that browses around the web by following links and then saves the websites they find into their database. This is called indexing. The spiders or crawlers will build their database this way. Once a website is indexed by a search engine spider, the search engine may revisit the site later on to keep its database up to date.
