But he does. In fact, this is one of the more obscure marketing tricks the Rich Jerk uses to sell you his product. You'll actually read about this sort of marketing strategy (which would probably fall under "fear" marketing) early on in his e-book, where he'll tell you the five secrets to internet marketing. It's pretty basic information once you read it, and really just talks about how to best market a product through creating hope, instilling fear in the reader, or just being really unique (the last category is what the Rich Jerk uses to get you to purchase his product).
