So why do I like the list building model? Well, to start off with, I like the idea of being able to sell to someone time and time again, rather than just the first time I get them to my web site. You see, if you send traffic to just a sales page, then maybe one percent of the people that go to that page will buy the product. But if you put people on a list instead, then you have the opportunity to send them to that sales page as long as they are on your list. So instead of a unique conversion rate of 1%, you might be able to get to 5% or 10%. I like that possibility!
