Look at how many hoaxes have spawned through the internet, or consider the fact that WIKIs are basically wide open for anyone to submit info, no matter how credible the source (if there even is a source). Don't forget the millions of blogs which are usually wide open for anyone to comment on anything. Of course, here I am pointing a finger as I'm about to spread some more information out there. I can tell you that what I'm about to share is based on good old-fashioned trial and error.

Many people out there would have you believe that PPC is old news, that it isn't effective anymore. Instead of using Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising in my initial efforts to promote a website of mine, I tried using article marketing and banner advertising. The results were there, but they were not huge. I was getting some visitors to my site but the onslaught I'm aiming for hasn't happened.

I then decided to get back to PPC Advertising, and my results have improved considerably.

Don't get me wrong; I'm sure that given the right design and the correct targeted audience, banner ads can work well. Article marketing is still something I believe in, I just think the results from article marketing come at a gradual pace.
