    My "career" has never been planned. In fact I prefer to think of it in terms of professional development rather than a career. I have had the opportunity to work in many different roles. If something interested me I went for it, mostly I was successful, sometimes not. I still clearly remember the first occasion I was unsuccessful with a job application. I had convinced myself this was the job of a lifetime and that I really, absolutely wanted it. Of course I didn't get it and on finding out the news spent the first five minutes on the floor displaying my best version of a tantrum. A very good friend with a few more years of life experience on board than I had at that time told me to get a grip. Which I did and with the wisdom of experience now approach rejection very differently.

    In terms of job promotions firstly do the actual job you are getting paid to do right now; as well as you can. I have seen many who forget this point as they strive for that promotion - mostly to their determent; who would after all want to promote someone who wasn't performing in their current role? Think about it and do your best in your current job.

    Remember to:
    * Be professional at all times;
    * Develop your own learning plan, don't wait for someone to do it for you, take responsibility for your own learning;
    * Be a team player and remember the power of please and thank you;
    * Develop a skills portfolio, highlight your achievements and successes, shine a torch on what it is you can offer to an organisation;
    * Ditch the gossip sessions;
    * Find yourself a mentor not just the open doors for you type of mentor but someone who can provide feedback (good & bad) on your performance, assist clarify and meet your learning needs;
    * Learn to reflect on your own performance identify what it is you do well, what it is you need to change or start doing and what it is you need to stop doing;
    * Work on your relationship with your boss -- remember they are human too; and
    * Network, network, and network as unfortunately it still remains true that it is often not your performance but being in the right place at the right time and who you know that gets the door open for you. Paying attention however to the above suggestions will ensure that when the door is opened you can move through it.

    The NUDE Model
    Nothing to be very sassy about it. Nudity could be a very crowd pulling idea of marketing. But here NUDE is a new way of modeling a business and see the business environment in a new light called “NUDE” model. It is an acronym stand forN = Novelty. U = Utility. D = Dependability. Walmart, As It Was
    As it was, Walmart was a wonderful part of my life. For a short while I sincerely believed what I was told and even if I had my doubts I pushed them aside because the company that I grew to love seemed to be something I had never come across in almost twenty five years of retail.Now with a book about it written and the possibility that it may be too controversial for anyone to print, I ma

    The Honeymoon Stage of Trucking Courier Services and What Every Customer Must Know
    A lot of in-city trucking couriers will service a new customer to death in the first few months of their business relationship, but once they feel that they are safe and secure with that customer, they begin to take them for granted and start providing shoddy service. Some couriers believe that since there are so few local courier express companies with a fleet large enough to service their clien
