Also network with people online who are in that line of work. Tell them you are interested and would like to know their honest opinion about what they do. I am sure they will be glad to tell you.

Most people change their careers at least once in their lives.

    5. Most importantly do something you love to do. Even if the career is not as financially rewarding in some cases, if you are able to do it and still take care of your needs, the reward will be far more than monetary.
