A few industries still provide opportunities for less-educate Black men, mostly wholesale and retail outlets. The construction industry is even out of reach for most under-educated black men. Many construction building jobs go to the union. Black numbers in unions are down too. If you have just a high school diploma, there is only a 50% chance of being employed.

This unemployment is at a crisis level. What does the future whole? These young men will not be able to support themselves or their families. As a young Black male myself, I worry that the joblessness will drive some to get money any way that they can.
