Most senior citizens are homeowners, and as many as 25 percent of them are on the move. The American Association of Retired Persons or AARP estimates that over 80 percent of people beyond the age of 50 have their own homes and from age 55 to 64, nearly 26.1 percent moved. Of those beyond the age of 65, nearly 22.8 percent moved.
