John's Gospel Portrait of Jesus Christ
Another distinguishing mark of this Gospel is all the extra little details John adds, which read like the memoirs of one who was an eyewitness. For example, we read that the loaves, which the boy brought to Jesus, were barley loaves.

When Tomorrow Never Comes
They say there are two things for certain in life...one is death and the other is taxes. I suppose some people have escaped taxes, but there is no one who has ever escaped death. Everyone has to make a choice about where they will spend the next life. We are all give one of two choices, heaven or hell. For those who have made arrangements for heaven have accepted Christ as their redeemer. For everyone else who hasn't come to that decision yet is considered lost or as God says, condemned already to hell. Either way, a person's soul will enter heaven or not. We may not want to think about it, but there's no getting around it. We just don't know when tomorrow may never come.

The Life Changing Encounter - Samaritan Women and Jesus
Upon closer examination, we realize we know this woman. She is a Samaritan and according to the town news, she is a woman of questionable character. After all, she had five failed marriages, and at present, she is cohabitating with a man who is not her husband.

Jesus was a Jew - God Might be an Atheist
It is amazing that religion tells us to ditch the ego and give our lives to god. But apparently we are also said to be made in the image of god. Unfortunately this causes a conflict in thought. You see we have been told that Jesus was a Jew and was the son of dog (sorry I am dyslexic and sometimes I get that mixed up). In any case if god decides to come down to Earth and play around on the surface of this life experience game he created, then he would have to be an atheist.

The Believing Remnant, Preserved and Secure
There has been much debate about the security of believers during this dispensation of Grace, but what about believers in the Old Testament, and during the Kingdom Age? By following the references found in the Scofield Study Bible, we can trace the believing remnant of Israel, and draw some conclusions about the security of believers in other dispensations.

Saint Monica of Hippo
Saint Monica of Hippo occupies a unique status in the pages of history: she is the patron saint of married women, patience, mothers and abuse victims and the mother of one of the most important figures in Western Christianity, Saint Augustine.

The Power of Our Words Pt.1
I would like to start out by talking about the parable of the sower. Without the sower, as the Word says how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard. The sower sows the seed that produces God's blessings. In this age we truly have the greatest privilege that any group of believers has ever had, we get to hear the Word everywhere. It's on television, radio, tapes and cd's, the internet, and faith comes by hearing.

What To Look For In A Messianic Congregation
There are many strong Messianic leaders and congregations in America and there are some that are strong but not so well-founded in scripture. Here are some pointers to tell the difference.

A Time To Every Purpose
The Bible tells us that, in the end of days, there will be signs in the Heavens and upon the Earth. Miracles and wonders to behold.
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars- and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity- the sea and the waves roaring.

Don't Give Up! He Who Promised is Faithful - A Message of Encouragement From Bible Promises- Part 1
The other day I wanted to give up when I faced the disappointment of failing. At that time, I did not see my failing as an opportunity to do better. I did not see my failing as an opportunity to grow. I did not see my failure as an opportunity to seek God's direction. I JUST WANTED TO QUIT AND GIVE UP.
Has that ever happened to you? If yes, these scriptures will be great reminders of some of the promises of God. Just like the Psalmist in Psalms 73:17 I had to go into the sanctuary of God.

The Responsibility of Blessings
Blessings are not miracles. Miracles are temporary, just for you, and can occur in unbelief. Blessings Keep us out of crisis, 2. Blessings are abundance for you. 3. Blessings are abundance so you can be a blessing. 4. Blessings require responsibility. 5. Blessings are eternal...
