Veil In The Uk Right Or Wrong
The Labour MP Jack Straw opened a proverbial can of worms when he requested that a Muslim woman should remove her veil in his constituency office so he was able to communicate effectively with her.

Of Pentacles
The pentacle also happens to be the central religious symbol of the Church of Wicca, a Church with over 400,000 members in the USA alone. There are roughly 1,800 active-duty Wiccans serving in the US military. These are proud Americans with constitutional rights like any other citizen ... and yet, when these Wiccan service people fall in action their Church is denied the right to place the pentacle on their gravestone as a religious marker.

Awakening To The Eternal Now
To find freedom from worry about the future, it is important to realize that the future does not yet exist. We are creating the future in each present moment through the choices we make. We are limitless spiritual beings, subject only to what we hold in mind! When we understand this, we can release limiting emotions and embrace the power of our true nature in each moment, creating a joyful life and future that reflects our inner reality.

Should Christians Celebrate Christmas?
Should Christians celebrate Christmas? The Bible never commands us to celebrate Christmas or observe any other festival allegedly borrowed from ancient Pagans. Can we then, as followers of Jesus Christ indulge in an increasingly commercialized and secular Holiday?

God Is A Warrior
History shows that there is no limit to the violence and savagery of religions.

What Christmas Means To A Non Christian
Christmas has an universal appeal and unlike every other religious festival, it is celebrated by Christians and non Christians alike. So what is it about Christmas that makes it so popular? What does it mean to people who don't subscribe to the tenets of Christianity? Though not a Christian, the story of the birth of Jesus has a special meaning for me.

The Lord is His Pastor
The native chief was sure that Jesus had visited their village. What's more, he claimed he would be coming back in two days. The young Bible College student was not sure what to make of this, but he was eager to wait the two days to prove to the chief that he was wrong.

What Will You Give to Jesus This Year? Is an Immature Question and Should Be What Will You Not Give?
The question of what will you give is a juvenile and immature question meant for a child. We can ask our children today, what will you give and have ready made little answers for them: Give this money I gave you for offering today, Give a kind word, Give your time in Sunday School today, or Give a gift to the needy once a year. But for us, for those who have walked with God and by the nature of our time on this earth there is another place we must be; and this place is a one of giving it all.

Jesus our Jubilee
This is the time of year as we enjoy the Christmas season, we celebrate the birth of our Savior, but we mustn't lose sight of the reason for His coming. He came to restore mankind to the Father. He came to destroy the works of the devil. He came to give life, and give it more abundantly. He came to give us eternal life. He came to forgive us our debts. 1Jn:3:8, Jn:10:10.
With this in mind, let's look at what Jesus said about Himself, as He read from the Prophet Isaiah.

Pitfalls Of Christian Small Groups
Many churches build a small group ministry as an extension of the main church worship and religious practices, just because other churches have successful small groups. This is a mistake because small groups have completely different dynamics from the larger Christian fellowship. When the small group ministry is organized top-down, it loses the flexibility that makes small groups attractive and Spiritually successful. The simple need for organization in a large group church requires rigid schedules and lessons that minimize the value of individual people. We'll cover how this large group thinking can generate small group pitfalls, and how to avoid them.

2007 Atheists Discussion on the Absurdity of Human Religion
Most atheists and agnostics simply cannot fathom how anyone could accept most modern day religions hook, line and sinker. In fact it baffles them that others find solace with an invisible friend in their minds. We know that over the millennium that religions have slightly modified themselves to stay up with modern societies and in some cases these modern societies never developed due to the strangle hold of religion.
